Trey Glaze

Originally from Ohio, Trey grew up in Texas and lived in several states before a career in the Navy brought him to San Diego.  He started playing music seriously when he was 11 years old, and during high school he excelled at the trombone - and dabbled with the guitar.  He played bass (not so well) in a garage band called Dark Colors and sang in an a cappella doo-wop style group called the Or Durves (yes, he knew how to spell it right).  A real trouble maker, he and the Or Durves once got caught by the principal cutting class to sing in the bathroom - better acoustics, of course!  In college, Trey sang in another a cappella group called the Night Owls and continued to play guitar on the side.

Trey has always enjoyed a wide variety of musical styles, including modern and classic rock, country and classical music.  He has covered the guitar and vocal duties in a number of cover bands through the years, and has lent his musical talents to various church bands, choirs, and orchestras as well.   Recently, he has been playing in the local acoustic duo Bad Neighbors.  He is thrilled to be performing with a top-notch group like Spectrum, and looks forward to many entertaining and exciting shows.
